Research is at the core of WorldQuant. Through rigorous exploration and unconstrained thinking about how to apply data to the financial markets, our researchers are in constant search of new alphas. We strive to understand data in ways our competitors dont believe is possible. Researchers at WorldQuant employ tested processes seeking to identify high-quality predictive signals that we believe are undiscovered by the wider market. These signals are mathematical expressions of data that are used as inputs in our quantitative models.
WorldQuant Seoul office is seeking Quantitative Research Interns who will work with for two months in January-February 2019.
Key responsibilities are:
- Create Alphas using WorldQuants proprietary simulator
- Will be provided with basic guidelines on datasets and research direction by our senior staff
Possibly develop new tools or operations
- Required to provide overall progress report at the end of each week
- Required to do a presentation at the end of the 2-month internship

- Motivated by the transformational effects of technology-at-scale
