업무내용
Business with main focus on sales and marketing excellence is essential to the continuing growth of our business. These are the teams that develop new investment products, tell clients about them and manage relationships to make sure the right clients choose the right products. It’s a varied and fascinating part of Fidelity International to explore as an intern.

What you’ll be doing

This is a big opportunity to build your knowledge on products, institutional sales channel, wholesale channel or marketing in this internship. We will assign you to one of the business departments where you will spend from eight to ten weeks. There will be exciting client work to get to grips with. You will be given great opportunities to develop your interpersonal skills through participating in cross functional projects. Rest assured, you’ll return to university with an international perspective on investment sales and marketing that will set you up for life.

Interns will be assigned to one of the following departments: Institutional Business, Marketing or Wholesale Business. Please refer to the below key responsibilities in each of the departments.

Institutional Business

Reporting into: Associate Director, Korea Institutional Business

Key responsibilities of the intern:

Experiencing Fidelity’s culture and business management different from other peers in globe.

• Privately owned and only AM business focused makes us to make us with long term investment view and committed asset manager.

• Working at KR office and interact with various division will provide Fidelity’s firm culture to intern

Understanding of Korea asset management industry and Institutional Business landscape

• Intern will do some exercise to research on Korea Institutional Business landscape

• Intern will be able to learn 1) the asset management industry in general 2) institutional business landscape in Korea and 3) the general market trend

Learning of Fidelity Korea Institutional Business development strategy

• Based on learning on the asset management industry, he will be able to know the current FIL Institutional Business positioning and business strategy.

• Intern will do exercise updating on Korea Institutional Business’ existing clients: 1st tier and 2nd tier (credit union, insurance and bank)

Marketing

Reporting into: Head of Marketing, Korea

Key responsibilities of the intern:

Research Project

• Research marketing activities for retirement and pension funds

• Research digital marketing and social media tools by different group of target client

Daily Job

• Press coverage monitoring

• Reports translation/proof reading

Wholesale Business

Reporting into: Wholesale Associate Director, Korea Wholesale Business

Key responsibilities of the intern:

Wholesale Project

• Conduct competitive landscape analysis project to understand key competitors’ products and new product trend in the market

• Examples of analysis that should be included in this project are competitiveness of key Fidelity funds, communicational literature to highlight selling points, the market size, pricing trends, and new opportunities for Korea Wholesale, etc.

• Present key findings and recommendations for Korea Wholesale business, while developing presentation skills as well as thought leadership in the industry

Sales and Client Relationship Management

• Understand and prepare Wholesale clients (Banks, Brokers, insurance companies, etc.), market and product details

• Work closely with the entire Wholesale & Client Service team to ensure they are fully prepared to interact with clients and promote Fidelity funds

• Train sales skills by participating in client meetings, sales event, and investment seminars with sales teams

You’ll need to be able to build ties with people from a range of business cultures and backgrounds. Confident and articulate, you’ll also have good analytical skills. Above all you’ll be ready to soak up new sales and marketing ideas and concepts and take on whatever responsibility comes your way.

Skills and Requirements:

• Student in the penultimate year of undergraduate or master’s programme

• Strong interest in financial services industry

• Good academic performance

• Initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent level of communication / presentation skills

• Proficiency in English and Korean is a must

• Excellent computer skills
