What you will do
This position will be based in Korea and provide support Korea 80%, and APAC Countries 20%.
Major Responsibilities for Korea HR:
- Prepare monthly payroll for data input, and work with payroll partners (payroll execution vendor & payroll specialist based in Malaysia) for flawless payroll process
- Make sure employee benefit program well in operation and reflected to payroll (congratulations & condolence, Child tuition, Flexible benefit, etc)
- Prepare and run new hire documentation & on-boarding process & schedule periodic New Hire Orientation with internal instructors.
- Be a focal point for employee queries on HR operations and direct queries to right person in charge.
- Be a main contact person for HR partnering vendors and handling contract, invoice, and payments.
- Provide employee information or reports such as HR metrics, compliance reporting, training tracking, headcount reporting, and file employee documents electronically maintaining and protecting confidentiality
- Support events such as annual benefits enrollment, Long Service Awards, Employee Engagement Activities
- Collaborate with diverse Cytiva / Danaher HR teams: payroll, Comp and Benefits, Recruiting, Learning and Development and other center of excellence
- Support various local HR projects
Major responsibilities for Other APAC countries excluding China & Japan:
- Centralized on-boarding process : Introduce on-boarding required documents to new hire, collect and store required documents from new hire, sends on-boarding checklist to Hiring Manager, and sends new hire information to related party (IT, Badging, GA) for Day 1 preparation.
- Lead and own periodic Asia-wide New Hire Orientation collaborating with country HRC (HR team): schedule session with instructor, send invitation link to participants, keep rosters, and seek feedback and propose continuous improvements
- Coordinate off-boarding process
- Centralized letter issuance: Come up with a self-help smart template to provide associate with company supported letters and propose path forward in long-term to automate this system
- Central ICP processing support to reflect into workday (Once a year)
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in related area
- 2 – 3 years of demonstrable experience in HR, and minimum 1 year- experience in payroll / benefit manage
- Solid interpersonal skills; prioritizing tasks effectively
- Ability to execute flawlessly - attention to details and accuracy
- Self-starter in identifying areas for improvement and taking action
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to build a relationship with key partners (Associates + Hiring Manager + HR) in English & Korean across the business
- Ability to comfortably work cross-functionally within a matrixed organization
