Localization Team [RIDI] QA Editor (French)

업무내용
As a QA Editor, you will work with other in-house language specialists, project managers, designers, and vendors to finalize and polish our content for publishing and train new collaborators to produce their best work.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with the right mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills to provide localization for the best Manta experience in the following languages: French

* Job type(Permanent, Contract) may differ according to one's background and experience.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute linguistic QA tasks to publish content
- Develop and improve Manta’s localization guidelines including glossaries and style guides
- Train new vendors and give feedback to vendors to meet Manta’s quality standards
- Manage external resources - hiring and training freelancers, conducting performance evaluations, etc.
- Work with any and all internal stakeholders to check material status, quality standards, and any issues related to translating and editing
Provide expertise on linguistic and cultural nuances in cross-functional meeting

- Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to identify and resolve inaccuracies and inconsistencies as well as
- readability and tonality issues of localized translations
- Native fluency French
- Solid grasp of grammar and punctuation rules in one of the languages mentioned above
- Good communication skills to train and give feedback to company peers, vendors, and freelancers

우대사항
- More than 1 year of experience in localizing translated content
- Experience with webcomic localization
- Basic Photoshop skills

The Localization Team is responsible for localizing content so that all our readers across the globe can enjoy our webcomics. Our work is not just about translation; it is about delivering the same experience, nuance, and fun that local readers are able to enjoy in their native language. Our project managers, designers, and language specialists work closely with one another to achieve this goal.

Screening Process

*It may take up to 4 weeks for the result of each stage to be communicated. This schedule is flexible, and if there is a delay in the hiring process, we will notify promptly.

Probation Period
- A 3-month probation period will be applied to all new hires. Depending on the performance review results, the probation period may be extended or the employment may be canceled.

Application Document Return Procedure
In accordance with Article 11 of the Fair Recruitment Procedure Act (Recruitment Procedure Act), below is the procedure of returning application materials.

- In accordance with Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Recruitment Procedure Act, applicants who did not receive employment offers may request the return of their application documents.

If a document is lost by natural disasters or any reasons that were not the fault of RIDI’s, it is considered that the returning obligation has been fulfilled.

In accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Recruitment Procedure Act, RIDI will return the documents by mail within 14 days from the receipt of the Form. Please be advised that the costs incurred are to be borne by the claimant.
