온세미컨덕터(ON Semiconductor)는 미국의 대표적인 반도체 회사인 페어차일드 반도체(Fairchild Semiconductor)를 2016년 9월에 인수하였으며, 페어차일드코리아 당시 1999년 4월, ‘한국반도체’가 30년전 국내 최초로 Wafer 가공 사업에 착수한 곳이기도 한 당시 ‘삼성전자’의 ‘전력용 반도체 사업장’을 인수하여 설립한 국내 최대의 전력용 반도체 전문회사로 경기도 부천에 사옥, 생산시설 및 부대시설이, 서울과 구미에 영업사무소, 그리고 경기도 화성에 최첨단 물류센터가 있고, 생산, 영업, 개발부문 등에 약 1,600명의 임직원이 근무하고 있습니다.
전력용 반도체란 통신, 컴퓨터, 자동차, 모니터나 TV, 오디오 등 각종 가전제품 및 산업용 기기 등에서 널리 사용 되는 정류, 증폭, 스위칭 등의 기능을 하는 소자 및 IC등을 말함인데, 온세미컨덕터 부천사업장은 1991년 국내최초로 1500V급 고전압용 반도체를 개발한 이래 MOSFET, IGBT, Power TR, 등의 개별 소자류와 전원용IC 등의 아날로그 집적회로류 등의 전력용 반도체 개발 및 생산에 주력 하고 있어 한국 전력용 반도체 역사의 산실로 불리기에 부족함이 없습니다.

업무내용
ㆍ Application Engineer for motion control with IPM, PIM and disctete power semiconductors. Industrial Power Solution.
ㆍWork with a team of Industrial products applications engineers supporting BU objectives
ㆍDefine product (SiC, High Voltage MOSFETs, IGBT, Gate Drive IC, Rectifier, FRD, PKG also) requirement specification requirements for new products into communication with technical development engineering
ㆍValidate Electrical performance evaluation through simulation and experiment as part of the product verification for system application.
ㆍDesign and build new test circuits and system for new device development support
ㆍWill be responsible for comprehensive application verification and validation of newly designed silicon and SiC taking a system-based approach.
ㆍIn-depth knowledge related industrial motor drive application and problem solving skills.
ㆍProvide collateral and IP material: datasheets, applications notes, user guides, white papers and patents.
ㆍConduct technical presentations and product training to internal Sales and FAEs as well as external partners and customers
