The TA Leadership Opportunity
As the TA Manager for Korea, you will own recruiting for the market, and in doing so will have a direct and outsized impact on Netflix’s success in the market, but also on the broader APAC region, and on Netflix as a whole. In practice, this means setting the TA strategy for and driving the execution of, hiring the diverse set of world-class creative, content, and marketing talent needed to realize the massive market potential in Korea.
You will drive this impact by your ability to:
• Lead a small, high-performing TA team covering all Korea hiring from Content, Marketing, PR, Product, and Corporate Functions.
• Act as a Functional Regional partner to one or more functions with the responsibility of driving alignment across the APAC region in connection with the global strategy for that organization.
• Strategically assess our support model based on the needs of the business - high touch vs high volume, 360 vs Researcher support, etc. to ensure we are delivering the best results in the most effective way possible
• Leveraging qualitative (hiring manager and candidate feedback, etc.) and quantitative (call volume, time-to-hire, hires-per-month, etc.) inputs to assess team performance and progress, while empowering the team with context, space, support, and the influence needed to ensure that we make amazing hires with the business
• Define and implement a practical, integrated set of hiring practices that ensure we build a diverse set of teams, leaders, voices, and experiences in Korea
• Identify and address bottlenecks the Korea business may encounter achieving our hiring goals. For example, delivering high-quality insights on locations where we are rapidly growing our presence, and taking a long-term view by investing in research and mapping.
• Partner deeply with our cross-functional local Talent partners to influence the right people outcomes with regards to inclusion, compensation, organizational design, coaching leaders, etc.
• Roll our key GBP initiatives at a local level for compensation, IRP, employer brand, etc.
• Leading searches on key roles and acting as a player-coach on the team
• Fluency in Korean and English
