Job Title: Business Planning & Control Assistant (Contractor)
Contract Period: 1-year Contract (Contract period can be extended under work performance and company's circumstances.)
Location: Seoul, Korea

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and control of the brand’s financial performance, including preparation of annual budget, revised budget, and strategic plan, in alignment with HQ guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly business reviews, management reports, and performance analysis, identifying key variances against budget and forecasts.
  • Provide support in monitoring P&L performance and delivering accurate and timely reporting of net sales and operating income.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Retail, Merchandising, Logistics, HR, etc.) to collect data, provide financial insights, and contribute to business decision-making.
  • Assist in tracking and reviewing CAPEX and OPEX related to store openings, renovations, and marketing investments.
  • Monitor actual spending vs. budget across all cost centers and support monthly accruals and provisions with Accounting team.
  • Maintain various internal reporting trackers and support ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management or HQ.
  • Collaborate with local and HQ stakeholders to align on forecasts and financial planning initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial planning, business control, or accounting (experience in retail or luxury industry is a plus)
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable with English business writing and reporting (verbal fluency is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, D365) or planning tools (Anaplan)
  • Familiarity with P&L structures, variance analysis, and cost center management
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability; self-starter with a proactive mindset
  • Passion or interest in the fashion or luxury industry
