주한독일상공회의소(KGCCI)는 1981년 설립 이래 한국과 독일 간 경제 교류 활성화 업무를 수행하고 있습니다. 주한 외국상공회의소 중 두 번째로 큰 규모를 자랑하며 회원사는 약 500곳입니다.
KGCCI는 독일 경제 및 산업에 대한 대표성을 가지며, 한국과 독일에서 사업 기회를 모색하는 양국 기업의 중요 소통 창구이자 시장 진입 및 사업 확장을 위한 비즈니스 파트너의 역할을 맡고 있습니다. 자회사 KGCCI DE와 더불어 시장 조사와 사업 파트너 발굴, 박람회 참가 지원, 투자 유치, 산업 시찰 프로그램 등의 전문 서비스를 제공하며 한독 에너지 파트너십 등의 정부 주도 양자 협력 사업을 지원하고 있습니다. 나아가 독일식 일학습 병행 인재 양성 프로그램인 아우스빌둥(Ausbildung), 이노베이션 어워드, 여성 리더십 증진을 위한 위어(WIR, Women In koRea) 멘토십 등 다양한 이니셔티브를 통해 한국 사회에 기여하고 있습니다.

* What is APK 2026?
The Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) is the flagship event for business leaders, executives and political representatives to discuss and promote economic relations between Germany and Asia-Pacific. Since 1986, the conference has been held biennially in various locations across the Asia-Pacific region, and 2026 will mark the third time Seoul hosts this global forum following previous editions in 1992 and 2007.
APK is jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Asia-Pacific. The APA-Chairman, President and CEO of Siemens AG Roland Busch, and the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Katherina Reiche, are the co-chairs.
As the local host, the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) is forming a dedicated team to deliver the event on October 29-31, 2026 at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, and we are now inviting applications for the role of Event Coordinator.
* Position Overview
As Event Coordinator, you will work closely with the Team Lead to support the planning and execution of this large-scale international conference. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a high-profile global event, collaborate with diverse international stakeholders, and develop valuable experience in event operations and project management.
- Location: Seoul, Korea
- Employment Type: 8-month fixed-term appointment
- Starting Date: April 2026
* Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day project support to ensure smooth planning and execution of APK 2026.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and service providers (e.g., venue, production, logistics).
- Assist in managing guest registrations, invitations, VIP protocols, and participant communication.
- Support the development of event materials, presentations, signage, on-site documentation.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, maintain project timelines, checklists, and databases.
- Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Contribute to on-site event operations during the conference, including setup, registration desk, room coordination, and attendee support.
- Collaborate closely with in-house teams and counterparts in Germany & Asia-Pacific.
