What you’ll do
As Korea EHS Representative (80%) :
- Assist certain assigned aspects (technical, regulatory, reporting, permitting, compliance, financial, administrative, etc.) of Cytiva projects in accordance with relevant regulatory programs and Cytiva policies.
- Evaluate regional EHS conditions in strong cooperation with regional EHS leaders, assess risks and support the development of appropriate corrective action plans.
- Provide EHS guidance and compliance support to sites and Commercial/Service region managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and program requirements.
- Be part of Country BCP team of Korea and act as member representing EHS perspective.
- Take responsible EHS related action by partnering with business, if there’s any improvement required to make safer & healthier work environment for associates.
- Be a focal point of contact for site’s EHS and timely respond to government’s request or EHS related audit, info requests.
As APAC EHS System Support (20%):
- Training Management (digital tool & user support)
- APAC EHS system support including; Gensuite (digital EHS tool) support, admin for case registration, follow-up on open actions (action tracking system, concern reporting), and build reports & charts for trend analysis
- Document Control: Coordinate the update of Documents & Forms relevant for occupational health & safety and environment with EHS leaders, maintain revisions, libraries (document storage system)
- Data evaluation of different projects with digital tools and Excel
- Support for EHS employee inquiries regarding training, procurement of PPE, ergo equipment and general process information
- Preparation of FAQs/brief instructions for employees, regional EHS communications
- Update of the internal EHS homepage
Who you are
- Bachelor of Science in a technical field, Safety engineer, other occupational health related certification
- At least 2 years’ experience in managing EHS Activities supporting a Site/Commercial/Service organization
- Experience in managing projects and EHS compliance
- Very good handling of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficient Excel skills or ability to learn (Basic Pivot, basic formula usage - vlookup etc.)
- Customer centric thinking and action
- You can read, write, and speak in English your subject matter professional (must)
- Good to have - strong English skills towards internal customers, teamwork
- Problem-solving thinking, resilience and dedication
- Able to simultaneously run multiple projects and other responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information
