Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
* Technical Skills: Experience with at least two of the following areas:
- C or C++ programming
- Python scripting and data analysis
- TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks
- Embedded software or microcontroller projects on platforms such as Infineon XMC, Arduino, STM32, or Raspberry Pi, etc
- (Nice to have) Experience with model optimization or quantization for embedded AI (TinyML, TensorFlow Lite, etc.) is considered an asset
* Collaboration and Communication: Effective team player with good communication skills
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Join our 1yr Edge AI internship and gain practical experience applying artificial intelligence to embedded systems at Infineon.
As an intern, you will support the development and testing of Edge AI solutions on PSoC Edge devices, assist with deploying models for embedded applications, and help with sensor data collection, preprocessing, and integration into AI pipelines.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers, explore Infineon’s AIoT tools and platforms such as DEEPCRAFT, and contribute to proof-of-concept demonstrations and technology showcases during your internship in our Seongnam office.
- Edge Solution: Support the development and testing of Edge AI reference solutions utilizing PSoC Edge devices
- Model Deployment and Optimization: Assist in deploying and optimizing machine learning models for embedded environments
- Sensor Data Collection: Participate in sensor-based data collection, preprocessing, and seamless integration into AI pipelines
- Proof-of-Concept Demonstrations: Contribute to the creation and validation of proof-of-concept demos such as voice command recognition, anomaly detection, and sensor fusion
- AIoT Architecture Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to design and build reusable architecture blocks for AIoT systems
